The targets were not easy today but we had one of our best entries so far, which is encouraging.
Again, winter had set in, giving us wind, sleet, snow and everything in between. These conditions made the setup very difficult as the wind changed and strengthened at the last minute, making it tougher than they set out to make it.
We were delighted that, although some were unhappy with the difficulty, we received messages and phone calls of encouragement from those that took it as a challenging winter round in bad conditions and understood the problems we had. Thank you for the feedback.
It was a great result for James Pile winning high gun on 86 and for 18 year old Sam Nunn just behind him on 85 winning A class. It is always great to see a young shooter do so well.
We would like to thank your referees who help us put on these events. Many came back in frozen this time and we do appreciate their efforts.
